50th Reunion
Jim and I began our married life, 39 years ago, in Indonesia, where we lived for two years while involved in mission work. Since then we have lived in the Chicago area, where I recently retired from teaching elementary school. We have a son and a daughter who both live in Chicago. I keep busy babysitting my little grandson Ben, teaching English as a second language and in Bible studies and work at our church. We like to travel (my favorite spot is Colorado) and we hope to do more of that in the future.

50th Reunion
I was married to our classmate Larry Heeb for 35 years. Larry was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 28 and lived to be 56, passing on November 8, 1997. Half of his life was spent living with the disabilities and challenges of this disease and yet glorifying God every day of his life. We moved to our farm in 1993. I retired after teaching elementary children for 25 years.
space
I continue to manage the farm and breed, raise, train and show Arabian horses. We have three sons, Jay, Jon and Joe, and nine grandchildren who live in Lawrence, Phoenix, Ariz. and Corvallis, Or. Spending time with family either here or there is wonderful. I love my “flexible scheduling” which allows me to travel, volunteer, help with church activities, keep in touch with friends, etc.

2004 Reunion
Family: 3 sons, 9 grandchildren
Notes of my life: Thankful to be healthy, to have completed a teaching career and able to be active.
Current Activities: Managing the farm, breeding, raising, training and showing Arabian horses. Traveling to spend time with grandchildren. Church activities. Enjoying friends. Plans for the future: Keep on keepin’ on.
