50th wedding anniversary

Joanne Okamoto and Thomas J. Munger III, Anchorage, Alaska, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 20.

2004 Reunion
Family: Husband Tom, 2 children, 1 grandchild
Notes of my life: Married 45 years. She and Tom enjoy Alaskan lifestyle, having lived there since 1968.
Current Activities: Business manager for Tom’s dental office in Homer. Enjoys close family relationships.
Plans for the future: Both children will be living away from Alaska, so she and Tom hope to mentor young Christian couples, since their relationship with God is very important. No plans to retire anytime soon.
Memories from Lawrence High Days: Long-lasting friendships from grade school through high school, extracurricular music activities.
