Graveside services for Eugenia Ruth “Sissey” Mullin, 66, Lawrence, were Dec. 21, 2006, in Clinton Cemetery in Clinton.
Mrs. Mullin died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at her home.
She was born Sept. 27, 1940, in Lawrence, the daughter of Elmer Eugene and Mary Dressler Holladay. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1959. She was a lifelong resident of Lawrence.
Mrs. Mullin worked for King Radio, later Allied Signal, as an inspector. She was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. She was involved with little league baseball and football. She was a former member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Ladies Eagles Auxiliaries.
She married Gene A. Mullin on Dec. 23, 1961, in Lawrence. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Gene Mullin Jr., Lawrence; three daughters, Katherine Foster and Sara Mullin, California, and Laura Rogers, Lawrence; four sisters, Delores Guy, Freda Schmidt, Clara Anderson and Betty Holladay, all of Kansas; three brothers, Calvin Holladay, Willie Holladay and Ralph Holladay, all of Kansas; and four grandchildren.
